Student Sponsorships

Thanks to the MaxEnt and Bayesian Association of Australia, we are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of sponsorships to students and recent PhD graduates from Australia or New Zealand travelling to MaxEnt 2025. The level of support is up to $500 NZD for Auckland-based students, up to $1000 NZD for other New Zealand-based students, and up to $1500 AUD for Australia-based students.

To be eligible, you must be a postgraduate student at a recognised institution, or have graduated with a PhD in the last two years.

If you would like to be considered for a sponsorship, please write a letter (up to one page) and send it to us at MaxEnt2025@auckland.ac.nz. You may submit this separately from your abstract, or along with it, whichever is most convenient for you.
